大明时大彬紫砂壶

 时大彬,字少山,也称时彬、大彬,是明万历至清顺治年间的,紫砂陶艺大师,被誉为“千载一时”。时大彬对紫砂壶艺最大的贡献是,重新创造了一种全新的成型方式,即“打身筒”和“镶身筒”的技法。这种独特的成型技艺,奠定了宜兴紫砂发展的根基,直至今天仍然沿用。他对紫砂陶的泥料配制、成型技法、造型设计与铭刻,都极有研究,确立了至今仍为紫砂业沿袭的用泥片和镶接那种凭空成型的高难度技术体系。

   Shi Dabin, also known as Shi Bin and Da Bin, is a master of purple sand pottery art from Wanli in Ming Dynasty to Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty. Shi Dabin's greatest contribution to purple clay pot art is to re-create a new way of shaping, that is, the technique of "body beating" and "body inlaying". This unique forming technology laid the foundation for the development of Yixing purple sand, which is still used today. He has done a lot of research on the preparation of clay, moulding techniques, moulding design and engraving of purple sand pottery, and established the high-difficulty technical system of making clay slices and inlaying which is still followed by purple sand industry.


  “时大彬紫砂壶”是在明代茶文化飞速发展这一精神气候下孕育出的一支独放异彩的鲜花。明朝建立以来,手工业者得到了进一步的解放,元朝推行的徭役制度,奴隶工匠制度逐步废止,手工业者获得了完全的创作自由,他们能根据自己的兴趣,自由地进行艺术创造。另外,受到明代社会思潮的影响,文人士大夫提倡儒学的中庸之道,同时推崇佛家的内敛,并且推崇道家的自然、平朴、虚无。我们民族的主流文化一直是儒释道合一的文化,一直是以仁德治天下的中庸之道,而紫砂壶朴质无华的泥质和光华内敛的色彩,正契合了文人艺术家们的品质追求。   在泥料上:在紫砂泥料上,时大彬也是一位敢于创新的能手。“时大彬紫砂壶”的原料材质为原矿料,铺砂和调配砂,外观颗料明显,壶身常夹金砂,壶面质感丰富,作品手感舒服。总的说应是“砂粗质古肌理匀”。   在识款上:时大彬在制壶的识款、题铭上表现了较高的文化修养。时大彬受文人的影响,他刻苦学习,精通书法。最初时大彬并不擅长书法,款式必先请人落墨,后来时大彬在长期钻研书法之后,终于写得一手漂亮的王字,才自行款署,时大彬的刻款,书法闲雅,博得文人的赞美。

The plain mud of purple sand pots and the glorious and restrained color are in line with the quality pursuit of literati and artists. On clay: On purple clay, Shi Dabin is also an innovative expert. "Shida Bin Purple Sand Pot" is made of raw mineral materials, sand laying and sand mixing. The appearance of granular material is obvious. The pot body is often sandwiched with gold sand. He studied hard and was proficient in calligraphy. At first, Dabin was not good at calligraphy, but his style had to be inked first. Later, Shi Dabin, after a long period of study of calligraphy, finally wrote a beautiful Wang character, and then paid for it by himself. Shi Dabin's engraving, elegant calligraphy, won the praise of literati.

  此大明时大彬紫砂壶壶高约6.9cm,口径约7.6cm,底径约9cm,采用上好紫砂料打造。壶泥色呈红色,砂质温润细腻。壶体呈圆形,盖合紧密,顶饰以宝珠形钮相衬,肩部渐敛略有弧度。曲形柄,流的制作独特,壶身以凸起双圈分隔上下两端,刻以纹饰,规整对称。壶底刻有制作日期以及“时大彬制”四字楷书款。虽紫砂制作,却有红玉的质感,造型规整,纹饰自然,是不可多得的杰作。   

This Daming Dabin purple clay pot is about 6.9 cm high, 7.6 cm in diameter and 9 cm in bottom diameter. It is made of fine purple sand. The mud of the pot is red and the sand is warm and delicate. The pot body is round with close cover, and the top decoration is matched by a jewel button. The shoulder is gradually convergent with a slight radian. Crank, flow of unique production, the pot body to protrude double circles to separate the upper and lower ends, engraved with decoration, regular and symmetrical. The bottom of the pot is inscribed with the date of production and the four-character regular script style of "Shida Bin System". Although purple sand is made, it has the texture of ruby, regular shape and natural decoration. It is a rare masterpiece.

  时大彬对于紫砂陶的泥料配制、成型技法、造型设计与铭刻,都极有研究,确立了至今仍为紫砂业沿袭的用泥片和镶接那种凭空成型的高难度技术体系。近年来,紫砂精品正成为艺术品市场的娇宠,行情连连看涨,素有最具收藏价值古董之称。更遑论名家大师作品,往往一壶难求,一壶千金时大彬作品虽多,但流传存世者极少。至清乾隆年间,时大彬的作品已视为稀世珍宝了。

By the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, Shi Dabin's works had been regarded as rare treasures.
